Team Update
I am happy to report good progress in our team development and want to share what we've been up to in the new year and what's up next.

The team competed well in the January 11v11 Hamilton Holiday Tournament. In the group stage we tied Paris 1-1 and defeated Vaughn and Erin Mills by scores of 2-1. That earned us first place and a ticket to the final. With the final being less than an hour from the last group game we started strong going up 1-0 early. But then the tough schedule caught up with us and players cramped up. Caledon who had three hours rest before the final took advantage and went on to win 4-1. Overall a well played tournament and a good benchmark.

We have been training indoors at USC since January and have one more session left before starting outdoor training on April 1. We took advanyage of the one warm day this winter and played a friendly v. Ancaster on March 7. The purpose of the game was to get another benchmark against a rebuilt Ancaster team. We lost 2-3 and give Ancaster credit for giving us this challenge to test our progress. We got important insights that are guiding our last month of season preparation.

We'll probably play one or two more test matches in April. April 24-26 we're playing at the Sparta Cup and will use the tournament to switch from development to competitive mode. On April 27th our imodel qualification season will start with the first game in Paris.

Stay tuned for further updates.
